Civil wrongs which result in injury are recognized as
grounds for a lawsuit to seek an injunction to prevent the continuation
of the wrongful experience or for monetary damages. The injured party
may sue for loss of earnings capacity, pain and suffering, and
reasonable medical expenses. They include both present and future
expected losses. There are numerous specific wrongs including trespass,
assault, battery, negligence, work-related, products liability, and
intentional infliction of emotional distress. |
